Throughout Wes’s 18 year sales career, he has always been a top performer. He knows the fundamentals of customer success and has built deep relationships along the way. Wes comes from an athletic background and learned at an early age the importance of integrity, teamwork and accountability. These are a few of the guiding principles amongst the Alchemy team.
In his free time, Wes enjoys spending time with his family, all sports (especially LSU football), fishing and traveling.
Wes holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Louisiana State University where he was a member of the 1997 Mens Baseball National Championship Team.
After spending 15 years managing sales, channel, and alliance organizations, Travis recognized the desire by customers to have better access to technical and business thought leaders to support their teams manage strategic planning and operational challenges. Thus Travis, along with his partners, founded Alchemy Technology Group.
Prior to founding Alchemy, Travis was the VP of Sales at AppSense, where he helped the company grow sales in the Americas from $2 million per year to over $50 million per year within 4 years. Prior to AppSense, Travis was the Global Strategic Alliance Manager at VMware responsible for HP and Dell relationships. Travis helped build these partnerships from $25 million to over $300 million within a few years. Travis joined VMware as part of an acquisition of Asset Optimization Group, where he was a member of the management team.
Travis holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin. Outside of work, Travis enjoys spending time with his wife and three young daughters, playing golf, tennis, skiing, and traveling.
With over 20 years of experience in technology, Michael Quirin brings a wealth of industry expertise to Alchemy. His “customer first” philosophy has enabled him to establish deep relationships with both customers and vendors, resulting in top tier revenue performance and industry recognition. Mr. Quirin has spent 15 years of his career focused on Cloud and Virtualization, which are a core strategy for Alchemy. Prior to Alchemy, Mr. Quirin held positions with AppSense, Citrix, Scalable Software, VeriCenter and ExxonMobil.
Michael’s hobbies include traveling with his family, enjoying his children’s sports, working out, fast cars, and spending time at his ranch.
He holds a BBA from Baylor University, where he studied Management Information Systems and Marketing.
Chief Technology Officer
Tom has over twenty years experience in the information technology space having spent the last eighteen years in the consulting field. Over those years, he has helped architect and implement complex technology solutions for many Fortune 1000 companies around the country and abroad.
He is an active member of the InfraGard, an organization that works with the FBI on cyber-security related matters for the protection of U.S. infrastructure and interests.
Tom spent six years on active duty in the U.S. Air Force as a cryptologic-linguist. Throughout his career, he has received numerous awards for performance and quality of work; this includes medals (and commendations) from the National Security Agency (NSA), the Department of Defense (DOD), and the U.S. Air Force (USAF) for various achievements in those environments. In addition, he also received recognition from Citrix Systems, Inc. with a global award for Outstanding Achievement, as well as an award for being one of their top technology engineers.
On the personal side, he enjoys traveling, sailing, and helping others to succeed.
Sr. Solutions Adviser and EUC Lead
Landon started his IT career at UTMB in Galveston and progressed to Lead Citrix Engineer, where he deployed every product under the Citrix Platinum product line. He obtained the Citrix Certified Integration Architect (CCIA) accreditation and then moved on to AppSense Professional Services (APS).
Landon was one of four consultants who founded APS. As the Global Principal Architect, he built all the best practices that are in use today. He was responsible for training all the new hires on the AppSense product line and helped drive new features by working with product management. Many of the features in the product today like the profile import functionality and application profiling were inspired by tools he wrote to fill in gaps in the product. He was the administrator of the past two AppSense Community discussion forums and he is the top contributor to the current forum with the most posts and most accepted answers. He has implemented and assisted hundreds of customers globally to ensure they have a consistent and well performing end user experience.
Solutions Architect and Security Practice Lead
Jason is the recipient of multiple awards and recognitions in the End User Computing community with a background in web architecture and security. He brings 17 years of proven expertise in Citrix, Microsoft, and VMware product stacks. He has authored numerous articles, books, created webinars, presented to large audiences, led user groups, given video interviews, collaborated with Gartner research analysts, and currently serves on advisory boards around Citrix products and services.
Regional Director – Southern California
After almost 20 years representing companies like Computer Associates, Sun Microsystems, Websense, AppSense and Splunk, Daniel has the knowledge and experience to be a true customer advocate.
Daniel joined Alchemy Tech Group for the opportunity to combine what he knows about technology with the trusted relationships he has built, and translating that into helping customers without any corporate agenda. He enjoys the freedom to work with any customer and really address the customer’s needs without the constraints of meeting a specific quota or timeline.
When he is not working, Daniel is daydreaming about how to leverage his credit card points into his next big vacation to a place he’s never been. He also enjoys snowboarding, and hopes that at least one of his two sons will one day contribute to an early retirement by becoming the next Shaun White.
Regional Director of Sales – Rockies
Jake is a results driven sales executive with a strong customer centric approach and is experienced in virtualization, user experience, security, cloud, infrastructure, as well as finance and accounting. Throughout the past 15 years Jake has worked with various organizations including Ivanti (AppSense), Avecto, HP, IBM, as well as Ernst & Young. Prior to his role in technology, Jake earned his CPA license and served a variety of Fortune 1000 companies as an auditor/consultant, which enables him to effectively map customer initiatives to the realities of their budgetary and process constraints.
While not working, Jake enjoys golf, travel, triathlons, wakeboarding, snowboarding, and most anything else to get the family outside.
Jake holds a Bachelors of Business Administration and a Masters in Public Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin.
