"Wait. You're going to be working with Jason Samuel?"
This was the response I got when I told my best friend that I was taking a new job as a consultant with Alchemy Technology Group. Not “congratulations,” not “I’m happy for you,” just pure excitement over the idea that I would be working with Jason Samuel and the Alchemy team, which includes the absolute top talent in the industry. Honestly, that is the only appropriate response, and I would have been disappointed if it was anything different.
Jason Samuel is a rock star. His website www.jasonsamuel.com is a renowned hub of Citrix, Microsoft, and VMWare knowledge. The comment sections of his articles are flooded with conversation and questions from fellow architects and engineers. This insight has helped me through so many issues in the past, that I couldn’t wait to pick his brain.
Apparently, my buddy and I are not alone in seeing Jason’s skill set and contributions to the IT community either, as he was recently recognized as a member of the 2018 Citrix Technology Program (CTP), for the third straight year.
The Citrix CTP designation is an award and is given to a very select number (only 50 worldwide!) of CTPs who have dedicated themselves to the success of both Citrix and the Citrix community. The award recognizes the contributions of individuals who have invested a significant amount of time and resources to become experts in Citrix products and solutions. Beyond that, these experts must openly share their wealth of invaluable knowledge to help the Citrix technology community.
In addition to building these multi-million dollar systems for customers and running his website, Jason has also been a Houston Citrix User Group (CUGC) Leader since 2016. With this position, Jason’s legend continues to grow, and I am proud to call him my teammate and coworker.
Jason Samuel is one of many talented individuals at Alchemy Tech Group. The Alchemy team as a whole consists of some of the brightest minds in the industry. I’m incredibly excited about this opportunity and I look forward to learning from the best.
