Job Description

An Enterprise Architect is a technical pre-sales contributor within Alchemy Technology Group who provides technical sales and services support to Account Executives, Sales Operations, and customers. The role demonstrates business and technical proficiency and subject matter expertise and is accountable for reinforcing the Alchemy mission of transformative disruption in both theory and practice.

Role and Responsibilities

• Engage with Alchemy customers to understand their business problems and help provide strategy, design, and solutions leveraging Alchemy’s product and service portfolio.
• Explain and capture customer requirements for initiatives relating to multiple technology areas, including, but not limited to, Cybersecurity, Datacenter and Cloud, Data and Analytics, Application Development, Modern Workspace, and AI.
• Conduct workshops to educate customers, gather business and technical requirements, and develop proposals.
• To ensure a cohesive customer outcome, provide strategy and leadership in accounts with multiple products and technology opportunities.
• Provide technical, licensing, and advisory support to Alchemy Account Executives to drive revenue and opportunity expansion.
• Maintain a current understanding of the technology solutions across the Alchemy portfolio, industry trends, and new market opportunities.
• Comply with established policies and procedures communicated to all personnel by the Alchemy leadership team.
• Uphold the values of Alchemy, ensuring customer satisfaction
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with your teammates

Qualifications and Education

As an Alchemist, the preliminary qualifications for employment are attitude and aptitude. These are essential characteristics to begin the journey towards extraordinary outcomes. To complete the profile as a Presales Solution Architect, the following qualifications are required:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the IT industry, focusing on solution architecture, enterprise architecture, IT Director, or field CTO roles. Experience working in a value-added reseller (VAR) environment is strongly preferred.
• Technical Skills: The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of the following areas with in-depth expertise in multiple areas:

  • Cloud Strategy and Architecture
  • Modern Workspace and End User Computing
  • Application and Software Development
  • Data and Analytics

• Possess the ability to be flexible with clients’ visions and directions without compromising quality;
• Punctuality and Professionalism when engaging with current or future customers.
