Job Description
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Cybersecurity Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices and a proven track record of successfully implementing cybersecurity solutions for clients across various industries.
Job Objective:
The Consultant’s primary goal is to help Alchemy continue to grow our Cybersecurity business by delivering professional services and generating a new pipeline.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct cybersecurity assessments and client audits to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and compliance gaps.
- Develop comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and roadmaps tailored to clients’ needs and requirements.
- Design and implement robust cybersecurity solutions, including but not limited to network security, endpoint security, cloud security, and data protection measures.
- Work with customers to develop, implement, and maintain cybersecurity policies and procedures to protect their information systems and data.
- Assist customers in developing and implementing incident response plans.
- Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies to provide proactive advice and recommendations to clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of cybersecurity initiatives with business objectives.
- Design/deliver cybersecurity training and awareness programs for clients’ employees to promote a culture of security awareness and compliance.
- Participate in pre-sales activities, including proposal development and client presentations, to showcase our cybersecurity expertise and capabilities.
- Contribute to other content creation activities such as new service offerings, deliverables, and other items as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) preferred.
- Proven experience working as a cybersecurity consultant or in a similar role, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA).
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, operating systems, and cloud computing platforms.
- Proficiency in cybersecurity tools and technologies, such as firewalls, antivirus software, data protection, and encryption methods.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security issues and develop effective solutions.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and deliver high-quality results within budget.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Flexibility to travel to client sites as needed.
